LEIGH HERZLICH- SAWYER  was born in New York, where she pursued a career in the fashion industry.  After 8 years as a manufacturer’s representative for such notable fashion houses as Emanuel Ungaro, Leigh relocated herself to Los Angeles, California. 

 

Leigh embarked upon a career in the motion picture business.  While working as an assistant to Producer Abby Singer at Mary Tyler Moore Productions (MTM), Leigh became interested in set design. She began takng courses at UCLA, which eventually lead to  a successful career in interior design, both residential and commercial.  In 1998, she teamed up with Richard Sawyer to create TSD Design Group, Inc. TSD has worked on projects ranging from the design of film sets, shopping centers and mixed use centers, residential & commercial interiors, graphic design, to window design and holiday decor.
